The shootings here in Omaha were very challenging to discuss with my kids, but instead of ducking out of that discussion, which is what many seem to do, we had a heart-to-heart about it. Certainly a lot tougher than when we grew up. Sorry, I don't have any suggestions. Child rearing is a complete mystery to me.
